This page contains information how our app In-počasí for iOS, Android and Facebook collects private information and what we use this information for. This Privacy Policy regulates how our app In-počasí uses, process and handle your personal data. This Privacy Policy also provides you with all of the necessary information according to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

In this Privacy Policy, the following definitions are used. "Company" or "we" means InMeteo, s.r.o., a company having its registered office at Kotíkovská 1268/75 Plzeň 323 00, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Pilsen. "User" or "you" means the person, company or institution that uses our app In-počasí.

Our Company process Personal data that are stated below. The Personal data is used solely for purposes of providing better service to you. We do not loan, rent or sell information to others.

Personal data that we process

Location

If you grant the In-počasí app access to your current location, our Company uses your location to get weather data and display the weather forecast for your location. To provide you weather forecast for your location, we need to use information on your current location. Please note, that if you want to use the widget with your current location, you must allow access to location data in the background of the system. We use this information to update the location in the widget if you move from one city to another.

If you no longer wish to share your location with our Company, you may change the settings within our app or not to allow us to use your current location when our app require this information.

List of applications

The widgets on Android get a list of apps installed on your phone in the Setting section. This allows you to set which application you want to open from the widget. The list of applications is not passed to our servers and we do not process it in any way.

Records of application usage

We use tools (Google Analytics and Firebase) to analyze the use of the In-počasí application. We monitor which data is the most popular or errors that occur while using the In-počasí application. Data is completely anonymized and it is not possible to use it to identify a specific user. We collect this data in order to improve the quality and stability of the application.

Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or e-mail, your contact information will be saved in the email client used in our Company. If you want your previously sent messages to be deleted, you can request it via the e-mail.

Recipients of your personal data

We limit access to personal information about you to employees, contractors and service providers who we believe reasonably need to have access to that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

Our company has physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that are designed to comply with regulations to protect your personal information. We limit access to our databases containing personal data to only authorized persons.

How long do we store your personal data

We only store your personal data for as long a time as is necessary for legitimate and essential business purposes.
